Ready, steady, book your table now!

Updated: Apr 28, 2023

We are preparing to open our doors and welcome you back on the 4th July 2020.

Here is how we are going to reopen safely.

To comply with government regulations, we have had to reduce the number of tables at Jorge’s. As I am sure you understand we are proud of our intimate space but reducing tables will greatly impact our business. Therefore, to keep you safe and to helps us get through the pandemic we have introduced “two seating’s” at Jorge’s.

First Seating

  • Our online booking system will allow you to book your table arriving at Jorge’s between 5:45pm & 6:30pm

  • Our guests will have 1 hour and 50 minutes to eat which gives you plenty of time to relax and enjoy your dining experience

Second Seating

  • Our online booking system will allow you to book your table arriving at Jorge’s between 8:00pm & 9:00pm

  • When booking a second seating table the table is yours for the evening

Making a reservation on the day?

To make a reservation on the day please call us on 01603 764 441. We may be able to offer alternative timings on the day.

Booking Terms

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Jorge’s Restaurant, we have missed you all so much. Due to strange times and a reduction of tables, we respectfully ask you to follow our booking terms!

  • Please arrive on time, the above timeframes for first and second seatings must be respected.

  • We understand that your plans may change, however, if you need to cancel your booking we respectfully ask you to let us know with as notice as possible, to allow us to rebook your table. Cancellations with a reduced number of tables with really impact us in a negative way, as a small independent restaurant we really need your support

  • If you have any symptoms of Covid 19, please stay at home, the safety of other diners and our staff is of paramount importance to us

IMPORTANT: To comply with government guidelines we are required to take the names & contact details of each diner at your table. Please include these in the note section of your booking

What are we doing to keep you safe?

  • Prior to opening, we will be doing a deep clean of the restaurant

  • We have reduced the number of tables inside the restaurant to ensure diners are a safe distance from each other

  • We have installed two glass screens to make sure diners are separated and able to keep a safe distance from each other

  • We have a hand sanitizing station for you to use on arrival and departure

  • We regularly sanitise all door handles at the restaurant, throughout the day.

  • Between seating’s, each table and chairs will be sanitized between diners

  • We will have single-use disposable menus that can be immediately recycled

  • In the bathroom we have antibacterial handwash in a hands-free soap dispenser, our individual cotton hand towels will be replaced with disposable paper towels

  • We’re asking customers to pay by card instead of cash, if they are able to & our car machine will be sanitized between users

  • We will update these procedures when the government releases restaurant guidelines

  • Our staff will have their temperature taken each day on arrival to Jorge's to ensure they do not have a temperature

Transition Phase

Due to these strange times, we have no idea how many people will be dining with us, so we plan to open with a transition phase. Whilst we reopen our doors and welcome diners back to Jorge’s, we will run our Go Bifanas takeaway menu for lunch & dinner. We will be offering collection from the Restaurant only or delivery through Uber Eats.

We look forward to seeing you on the 4th July!

If you have any questions please call me on 0737 503 7479

Many thanks,

Time to build. In a clash of the titans, the Brooklyn Nets went into Wednesday night battle against the Philadelphia 76ers a bit shorthanded. Philly started to cruise in the fourth quarter, but the Brooklyn bench went on a mad dash to the finish line and almost pulled off a comeback for the ages. They wound up falling a bit short, but there was a lot to take away and if these titans square off with the stakes at their highest, itl be a fight for the ages. The opponent tonight will be the Charlotte Hornets. After a good run, things are starting to trend backwards. They lost on Wednesday night at home to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The …
