Due to our restaurant's small size, we do not allow dogs or pets, except for guide and service dogs. Not all tables have space suitable for dogs, so if you are bringing a guide or service dog, please let us know in advance. This allows us to ensure a safe and comfortable space for your dog and to maintain a clear pathway through the restaurant. Failure to notify us in advance may result in disappointment or you may have to wait for a suitable table. We also ask that dogs remain well-behaved and quiet during your visit.

As we're located in the city centre, Jorge's doesn't have its own parking. However, there are plenty of car parks within a 2 to 5 minute walk of the restaurant.

Closest options:

• St Stephen's Car Park (closest, with more spaces available)

• Castle Quarter Car Park 1 & 2 (Car Park 1 has more spaces)

All other city centre car parks are within a 10 minute walk or less from Jorge's.

Planning a night out? If you're staying for drinks after dinner, check car park closing times – some close at midnight, whilst St Andrew's and Rose Lane car parks are open 24 hours.

Well-behaved children are absolutely welcome at Jorge's. We get that parents want to still be able to enjoy dining out – we were and still are those parents who love taking our daughter to experience great restaurants.

What we ask: We expect the same from you as we do of our own child when dining out:

• Crying babies and children should be taken outside whilst being settled back down

• Children are not permitted to walk or run around the restaurant

• Electronic devices must remain on silent mode – there's nothing worse than trying to have a relaxing meal when someone is playing their iPad or phone with the volume on. It ruins the atmosphere for everyone.

We love seeing families enjoying our restaurant, but we ask that parents and children respect our rules the same way we do with our own family whilst dining out.

High chairs: We have a high chair available – please request one when making your reservation.

Making your reservation: When booking, babies and children count as a person. Please specify exactly who's coming – e.g. two adults plus 1 child and 1 baby. If you book a table for four and turn up with a baby without notifying us, the chances are there won't be room for your baby or small children. Please be specific when booking to avoid disappointment.

Buggies: Due to our limited space, we cannot guarantee that you'll be able to bring a buggy inside. If you notify us in advance, we'll do our best to make space, but please be aware that you may need to leave your buggy outside in the courtyard. We cannot be responsible for any items left outside.

Children's menu: We don't have a dedicated children's menu; however, we have many regular younger diners who find lots of food they love on our main menu.

Jorge's is conveniently located in Norwich city centre, making it easily accessible by public transport.

By bus: Norwich Bus Station is just a 3 minute walk from Jorge's. Many bus routes also stop on Red Lion Street right in front of the restaurant, making it incredibly easy to reach us. Most routes stop at Castle Meadow or St Stephen's Street, both within a 3 minute walk of the restaurant.

By train: Norwich Railway Station is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Jorge's, or you can catch a quick bus from the station into the city centre.

Taxis can pull up right at the courtyard entrance to Jorge's, making drop-off and pick-up convenient and easy.

Black cab ranks: There are two black cab ranks in Norwich city centre:

• St Stephen's Street (outside Marks & Spencer)

• In front of the Guildhall (near the market)

On busy nights, the rank near the market tends to have better availability.

Planning ahead? Saturday nights can be busy in Norwich, so we recommend pre-booking your taxi home, heading to the Guildhall black cab rank, or calling an Uber to avoid long waits.

Uber: Uber operates in Norwich and can pick you up directly from Jorge's courtyard entrance.

We want all our guests to feel welcome at Jorge's. Having close family members who have been wheelchair-bound, we wish we could do more, but our limited size and historic building present some constraints.

Entrance: The courtyard is flat with a very low kerb step into the restaurant, which wheelchairs can navigate.

Ground floor: Wheelchairs can access the lower floor of our dining room comfortably.

Upper level & toilets: There is a small step up to the second level where the toilet is located. As Jorge's is housed in a historic building, we unfortunately don't have the turning circle or space for wheelchairs to manoeuvre into the bathroom.

Mobility scooters: Due to space constraints, we're unable to accommodate mobility scooters inside the restaurant or store them safely whilst you dine. If needed, they would need to be stored outside in the courtyard at your own risk.

We do have disabled guests dining with us regularly, but we appreciate that our space won't be accessible for everyone depending on their individual needs.

We recommend a visit first: To ensure the space works for you, we strongly recommend that you or a member of your party visit us for a quick look around before booking. Our team will be happy to show you the layout and answer any questions.

Yes! We have seating available outside in our courtyard for alfresco dining.

Booking outside tables: We only accept reservations for outside seating on the day of your visit, as this space is weather-dependent. Please call us on 01603 764 441 on the day to check availability and book your courtyard table.

We can't wait to welcome you to Jorge's! Our intimate space books up quickly, and booking in advance is strongly advised. There are days and times when we're fully booked up to 3 weeks in advance, so if you're making a special trip, we absolutely recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment.

Walk-ins are welcome: We'll always try our best to fit you in if we can. If our online booking system shows no availability for your chosen day, it's worth ringing us on 01603 764 441 to be added to our waiting list.

Last-minute plans? For same-day bookings when the system appears fully booked, try calling us to check for last-minute cancellations – we may be able to squeeze you in.

Absolutely! I (Eleanor) was vegetarian for many years, and we have close family members who are vegan, so we really do understand how hard it can be to find a restaurant that's suitable for everyone.

We're a very small restaurant, so we can't offer an extensive list of plant-based dishes, but we've tried our best to offer some great options for you. Check out our plant-based tapas dishes, extensive list of sides, and we even have vegan wines!
