Welcome to Jorge’s Tasca, a tapas bar, plus much more! Located in a stunning glass atrium in the quiet, hidden courtyard of Orford Yard (just off Red Lion Street in Norwich), Jorge's Tasca offers a wonderful dining experience for everyone.
IMPORTANT: We will be closing Jorge's Tasca permantly with our final day of trading taking place on the 23rd December 2023.
Jorge's Restaurant will remain open and we can't wait to welcome you soon.

Start your day right with our delicious brunch menu, served between 10 am and 2:30 pm. We provide a variety of tasty options, from toasties to 'pastel de natas', full Portuguese breakfasts, and sharing brunches like steak with eggs. The delightful Portuguese flavours and a cosy atmosphere make our brunch perfect for spending a relaxed weekend morning or catching up with friends.
Lunch: Taste the Magic of Bifanas
For lunch, step into the wonderful world of bifanas – traditional Portuguese sandwiches. The bifana is a staple of Portuguese cuisine and can be found in cafes and bars across the country. Made with marinated pork cooked in a seasoned broth with garlic and spices, the bifana is then served on a soft roll, creating a sumptuous lunch option that's both portable and flavoursome.

Tapas is served from 2:30 pm, with the last sitting at 8:15 pm. Inspired by our foodie adventures around the world, Jorge's Tasca offers tapas and petiscos - the Portuguese version of tapas - with mouth-watering dishes made from seafood, abundant in Portugal's coastal regions. The shared nature of tapas, combined with a wide range of options including meat, vegetable, fish, and seafood dishes, creates a fun and interactive dining experience for friends and family.
