Jorge’s is a modern Portuguese restaurant tucked away in Orford Yard, just off Red Lion Street. We found our Norwich location in autumn 2018 and fell in love with the intimate, cosy space with it’s open kitchen and outdoor courtyard.
Our menu is designed to bring the true food and hospitality of Portuguese tascas to Norfolk - serving seasonal tapas for lunch and sensational steak, seafood and Portuguese dishes for dinner. If you haven’t tried our Iberian black pork or charcoal-grilled octopus, you haven’t lived!
Our wine list includes one of the largest arrays of Portuguese wine in Norwich from regional quintas and independently minded producers - carefully chosen to pair with each course of our locally sourced menu.
We approach Jorge’s as our home from home - friends, good wine and great Southern European cooking. We look forward to you joining us soon.

The Food
Our food is inspired by travels around Portugal!
Meat, fish and seafood are cooked over charcoal to create fresh, vibrant plates. Expect to find our house special Iberian black pork and terra e mar (meat and seafood) plates for the ultimate sharers.
We carefully source all of the ingredients and ensure we buy locally and seasonally where possible.
Not a meat eater? Our vegetarian and vegan dishes are some of our favourites and you can always expect to find a plant-based dish.
